Editorial and source policy

How to use sources, understand comparisons and check changing travel information.

Sources and changing facts

Provider timetables, public authorities, park services and official visitor information are the primary references for rules, schedules, admission and service conditions. Where a guide links a source, follow it for the current terms. A date on a guide records that page’s publication or update; it does not mean every linked service is monitored continuously.

Comparisons and itineraries

Comparisons are editorial aids, not objective scores, independent safety audits or guarantees. A suggested route or night allocation is planning advice rather than a confirmed departure or purchasable package. Weather, cancellations, access restrictions and personal needs can change whether a plan is suitable.

Firsthand claims and specialist advice

A description or recommendation does not itself establish firsthand travel experience, a professional qualification or independent testing. Trekking, diving, wildlife activities and other higher-risk travel require provider-specific checks and, where appropriate, qualified advice.

External links and commercial limits

External sources and providers control their own information, services and terms. A source link is not a safety endorsement or a claim that a commercial agreement exists. Any future commission-bearing recommendation needs a clear disclosure; this policy does not claim that affiliate approval or a booking facility is in place.
